Pat always said that we got along so well, because we were from the same time period. We grew up in the seventies. We relished the same music of that hippie era. Although we were very different, we appreciated each other’s differences and had a harmonious relationship. I will always appreciate his unconditional love, and how he allowed me to be who I am.

Thank you, Pat, for giving me the freedom to fly free. This song, Free Bird, is from the seventies. It’s my song. It’s about the inherent freedom that we all strive towards. He reached that freedom on October 21, 2022.
