Life was mysterious. There were some things about life that you simply could not understand. As Ken thought about his life, he realized that there was one thing that he did understand. And that was that he had gained such satisfaction from all of the loves of his life. Maybe that's all that is important. Because everything else----the pain and suffering in life, those things eventually faded away. But somehow, love endured.
